Join us on Tuesday, November 17 at 1PM as we hear from Bryan Van Duen, Supervisory Special Agent, FBI as he presents a special webinar on white collar crimes. Bryan will discuss the different types of white collar crimes that are investigated, national trends and initiatives as well as share examples of adjudicated cases. This webinar is open to FPA members and sponsors only as we close out our 2020 programs.

This webinar will provide one hour of CE for CFP, Legal, Accounting and PACE (pending approvals).

Come hear an economic update from Ernie Goss, PhD, Creighton University. Dr Goss will provide an economic update including high tax state representation in Congress, leading economic indicators and employment rates. His economic outlook covers U.S. long-term Treasury bonds, mortgage rates, municipal bond bankruptcies and the GDP growth forecasts and more!

-- Nov. 20 @ 1-4PM: Ethics: A Practical Perspective for Today's Financial Professionals (Presented by Jim Boldt)

This three-hour program offers a practical perspective on Ethics for today’s financial professionals. This course will review ethical and professional responsibility in daily and professional life and the importance of ethical conduct in today’s financial services industry. The course will also discuss how ethics should be applied to the business practices of financial professionals in an ever-changing financial service industry.

This webinar will provide three hours of Nebraska and Iowa INSURANCE ETHICS credits. We have also applied for Ethics CE credit for Legal and Accounting. Please note: this is NOT a CFP Ethics course. FPA Nebraska will offer a CFP Ethics course in the first quarter of 2021.

The American Heart Association has teamed up with FPA to deliver a learning series: Philanthropic Solutions in Financial Planning, an AHA & FPA Certificate Program, to support you in advising clients on philanthropic opportunities.

The educational curriculum has been customized for professional financial advisors and presents topics on facilitating meaningful philanthropic conversations with clients using trusts and beneficiary designations that work to meet client objectives, and strategies to effectively guide your clients to develop a family philanthropy strategy.

Upon completion of this FREE learning series, participants will receive CE credit, membership into the AHA Professional Advisor Network, as well as a digital badge and certificate. Once registered, attendees will gain access to each webinar.
